To widely promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential across Arab countries and increase inbound travel, a production crew from Al Jazeera, Qatar’s leading news channel, has arrived in Uzbekistan.

During their visit, the film crew is capturing footage in several key regions — including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khorezm, and Jizzakh, as well as the capital city Tashkent itself. The team is exploring Uzbek culture, traditions, tourism villages, cultural heritage sites, handicrafts, and national cuisine, while also highlighting recent reforms and developments in the country’s tourism sector.

This upcoming program will offer millions of viewers a rich and detailed view of Uzbekistan — showcasing its history, landmarks, hospitality, and unique experiences. The initiative is expected not only to spark greater interest in Uzbekistan as a travel destination, but also to enhance the country’s international image as an emerging tourism hub in Central Asia.
